Ewa Potocka

Ewa Potocka visited us In the Month of Feb 2020 and she was with us for 15 days , during her brief spells of time. She painted two walls. Most important was women of the village on the wall( Local Women). She beautifully pained women with colourful pastels and extensive use of stencils to create the Moroccan feel of the art works . Her second art work was inspired by the cows in India. Cows were also pained on the giant wall and coloured with the help of beautiful stencils to create the ambient feel. Amazing work by Ewa.

Bio

Ewa Potocka, born in 1977, is a Polish artist living in Morocco since 2013. She got her Ph.D. in Intermedia Art from the Fine Art Academy in Cracow, Poland in 2010. Painter, printmaker, video artist, and art-gamemaker she was founder of feminist net-art group “Grzenda.pl”, and created the first artistic internet VR game in Poland. She was a lecturer at the University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz and the Fine Art Academy in Cracow, Poland. Her work experience also includes graphic design, UI design, UX design, video editing, animation, illustration and publications. As an intermedia artist she shows her work in individual and collective exhibitions in Europe, USA and Canada.

Fez City Game

Ewa is also the designer of very famous City game called Fez City Game.

The game will be a combination between game online, social media internet service and game in real space, where area of city is used as a game board, as a background for the game action to be played and the most important element of the game.
